Silk Dresses (non-wrap) by Diane von Furstenberg

So far, my blog entires have focused on DvF wraps because they are the easiest to buy without first trying on. However, for DvF devotees who want to expand beyond wraps, you probably want to also hear about what other DvFs I have available. This entry will focus on silk DvF dresses I have in my inventory. Non-silk dresses, separates (skirts, trousers, jackets, sweaters, etc.) and accessories will be addressed in other entries of my blog-shop.

Diane is known for her wonderful silk jersey, made in that fabulous weave reminiscent of a comfortable t-shirt, except created using high-quality silk threads. The result is a jersey that has a slight bit of natural stretch, drapes the body well (flattering, not binding and not slippery like silk sheets or pajamas), is versatile enough for both work and play, and travels incredibly well (fold carefully and, when you arrive at your destination, it should be barely wrinkled; if the valise was especially tight-packed and your item got wrinkled, hang immediately when you arrive at your destination -- 20-30 minutes of hanging should work the wrinkles out).

In addition to silk jersey, Diane also makes dresses in stretch silk, silk chiffon, silk mesh, silk pique waffle and silk viscose; other materials are discussed in a separate entry.

I do not tend to stock up on non-wrap dresses because the need for exact sizing is a limiting factor; thus, sizing selection is limited. If I see something that is well-priced, I will usually go for it, so I hope there is something here for you!
